Sitti Nigella Olive Oil Soap

Plant-based soap made from sustainably-sourced ingredients, including olive oil from local Jerash farms in Jordan. Nigella, also known as Black Seed, is a seed native to the Middle Eastern region, use of Nigella Sativa can be traced back three millennia to ancient Egypt and King Tut’s tomb. The Nigella soap bar will gently exfoliate and enrich your skin with vitamin E.

This moisturizing bar is the perfect companion to your bathroom ritual after a long day, it is naturally exfoliating with the calming scent of chamomile and lavender.

Made by talented artisans in Jerash Refugee Camp. This soap bar is one of five earthly bars in the Sitti ARD Collection. ARD is the Arabic word for ‘earth’ or ‘land’. Each soap within the ARD collection is made from all-natural ingredients and a connection to the land of our refugee community in Jerash, Jordan. Each bar is handmade using the traditional cold-press method, passed down from generation to generation of Palestinian women.

This collection signifies the importance of the meaning of ‘land’ to refugee and displaced communities around the world and pays tribute to the beauty and the memories left behind in the pursuit of a brighter future.
