Animals noticed something quite weird! People were missing, the streets were all cleared. The beaches were empty, the playgrounds were quiet. They wondered and wondered if they should dare try it...

The Covid19 virus affected people all around the world. To try to stop the virus, people were told to stay home, restaurants and businesses closed. Traveling became limited. Beaches were closed to the public and tourists stayed home. Animals of all sorts took advantage of empty beaches, parks and streets.

This non-fiction story, written in alliterative rhyme, uses beautiful illustrations to show animals in the countries where they were seen in during the Covid19 pandemic. The story includes an introduction to the Covid19 crisis and the effect it had on animals. They were seen behaving in unusual ways and experienced a level of freedom to explore that was not part of their previous existence. Find out just what they got up to...
