Activated charcoal has toxin absorbing and antibacterial properties. It absorbs and binds to the harmful microbials so they can be flushed away. The activated charcoal solid dish soap offers an even deeper clean.

This dish soap from Make Nice Company cuts stubborn grease on your dishes while still being gentle on your hands.

This soap is a power house cleaner and can even take stains out of your clothes, and be used for spot cleaning (test in an inconspicuous area first!)

How to use: Use a cloth or dish brush and rub directly on the soap. Wash dishes with warm water and rinse well. For pots and pans, use a pot brush, scrubber or scourer.

Keep in a dish which will allow it to dry/cure between uses.

Please note: Using a strong scourer or hard bristled pot brush will wear it down faster than using a cloth or soft brush. If you see spots on your dishes after washing, this is due to hard water reacting with the soap. Simply rinse with diluted vinegar.

Works for me!

I am very happy with this dish soap. I am on my second block and find it lasts a long time. Does pretty well at cutting through grease. Took some getting used to but now is second nature. I don't find it drying on my skin even with lots of use. I use the cellulose sponge clothes and it is a great combo.

Love this dish soap!

I've tried a few different solid dish soaps now and this one works the best in my opinion. It lathers very well- I was surprised! It's lasted me quite a while so far too.

Works very well

I hand wash all my dishes and this soap doesn’t dry out my hands. I don’t find it leaves any residue but with dishes that have heavy grease (Like bacon fat) I find I need to go over them twice which is not a big deal. Very happy with it.

Tried to love it, but......

I really wanted to love this alternative to liquid soap and all the plastic packaging, but it's just not working for me. I have used the large block for about 2 weeks now and it is all but gone. Hand washing with it leaves white spots all over and it does not remove grease from pots and pans.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I'm sorry to hear that the solid dish soap didn't work out for you. White spots can occur if you have harder water and it might be beneficial to do a diluted vinegar rinse after washing. I, myself, have a water softener and still see spots sometimes so I do a quick spray down with vinegar and then leave everything to dry. This charcoal bar only comes in the one size, there isn't a larger size available...is it possible you are referring to another product? Using a pot scrubber or more abrasive brush can wear it down faster then a soft brush or cloth. I haven't heard of it only lasting two weeks though, it should last quite a while! Wonderful

I bought the charcoal soap and I would say it goes beyond my expectations. I wash afraid it wasn’t going to clearn properly my dishes, but it works perfectly even on melted/then dry cheese. Also I was very surprised about how it removed the grease residue that I often find in my lunch bowls after having meat in them. It would say from my experience it removes it better than any other supermarket brands I’ve tried.
