An Äggcøddler is for making eggs! And lots of other things like fondue, apple crumble, and a ton of savoury dishes. Check here for inspiration. This is an XXL Äggcøddler and can hold up to 3 eggs.
Making an ÄGGCØDDLER is easy:
- First, you oil the inside of the cup to add flavour to the egg and the other ingredients you’re about to add. Plus, it makes cleanup much easier!
- Next, you break an uncooked eggs into the cup. Then comes the part where you let your culinary creativity take flight and what makes the ÄGGCØDDLER unique: You can add all sorts of spices, herbs, cheese, vegetables, meat – whatever you want. You can keep it simple or experiment with new flavour combinations.
- Secure the lid with the silicone band and partially immerse the ÄGGCØDDLER in boiling water for a few minutes – how long depends on how firm you like your eggs. (Soft eggs: boil for 8-9 min / Hard eggs: boil for 11 min+)
- Carefully lift the porcelain from the water and remove the lid. Everything will be hot, please be mindful!
Tip: Never fill up more than 3/4 - otherwise it might overflow in the pot.
