The classic beechwood dish brush from Redecker.
Totally plastic free and you can swap out the brush head when it wears out. With proper care, these brushes can last you a long time!
Change the brush head every 3-6 months or as it wears out (this will vary a bit depending on how heavily you use it and how well it's maintained).
To Clean: Rinse off bristles with water and then swish bristles in vinegar and allow to dry completely.

Care: Avoid leaving your brush submerged in water for long periods of time. Let it dry completely with bristles hanging downwards between uses to prolong the life of the brush and to prevent cracking since this is unfinished/untreated wood.
The metal parts are recyclable (rod inside of handle and metal rings that hold the bristles in place -pull out bristles with pliers to find them!) and the wood and bristles are fully home compostable.

Pleasantly Surprised

This brush is awesome! I was worried it'd be too stiff, scratchy, and bulky to do a good job but I love that I can switch the head out and the minimal waste aspect. My old plastic brush finally gave out and I gave this one a whirl and was pleasantly surprised at the performance. The bristles are actually pretty plush and soft, yet still have a great scrubbing action and enough abrasion to take on tough grime once it's been soaked a bit. It even does a decent job at getting into edges. I'm sold! It also works really well with dish soap blocks.

Great Brush

I was definitely worried that the natural bristles would be drier and more abrasive than what I had used in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised that they are in fact softer! It can take a little longer to scrub off some tougher messes, but I'm glad to know my dishes won't be damaged, and it fits inside travel mugs / bottles very well.

Love it!

Definitely love this brush. It works very well, and if its hung to dry, i can see how it will last awhile. Of course because of the shape, it is hard to get inside deeper pots or dishes or getting the deep corners of something but that's where the pot brush comes in handy. Having both these items together is the best combo.
